Mr. Elkins handles all other criminal cases. Mr. Elkins has had felony jury trials on drug delivery and trafficking, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, arson, and first degree murder cases. Mr. Elkins has helped clients who have previously plead guilty and wish to clean up their records. This is commonly referred to as expunging records. In this complicated area of the law, Mr. Elkins has vast experience with Idaho's "expungement statute" and is intimately familiar with the legislative history behind the law and the numerous Idaho appellate cases that have considered the statute. Mr. Elkins has spoken at seminars on this procedure and has written extensively on the subject.

Mr. Elkins is certified as a criminal trial specialist by the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association, is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the Idaho Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys (Board of Directors) and the National College of DUI Defense (State Delegate).
