DUI Defense

If you have been charged with a DUI, time is of the essence and usually you will need to request a hearing within seven days from the incident. You will need the assistance of a lawyer to guide you through the process. Contact my firm for information on what you will need to do for appearing at an arraignment, requesting a hearing with the court on an alleged refusal to submit to testing or request a hearing before the Idaho Transportation Department for taking and failing a breath or blood test.

In an effort to better represent his client's when they've been charged with DUI, Mr. Elkins has been certified as an operator on the Intoxilyzer 5000 and 8000 breath testing machines and understands the intricacies of these machines–how they work and their faults. He has also received training on the NHTSA-approved method for administering the so-called field sobriety tests, or roadside maneuvers.
